Compensation: 11.44 Per Hour (PAYE) plus Holiday pay.
Work Schedule: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:30 AM - 16:30 PM
Role Overview:
The primary aim of this position is to facilitate the smooth functioning of the organization by executing a range of administrative and clerical responsibilities. These duties are vital for maintaining the daily operations of the organization efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine office administration tasks such as invoicing, filing, and managing meeting spaces.
- Handle telephone and reception duties.
- Provide general assistance to the team, including the input of legal and medical documents, filing, and record management.
- Deliver comprehensive administrative support for the Safety & Resilience and Environmental Health teams.
- Maintain high standards of office organization, ensuring an effective filing and retrieval system to monitor and resolve outstanding issues.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments for the teams.
- Accurately input and update data in the computer system in a timely manner.
- Take efficient and precise notes.
- Draft and edit professional correspondence.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- NVQ Level II in Business Administration or Customer Service, or three years of relevant administrative experience.
- Prior administrative experience is beneficial.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail with the capacity to multitask.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Relevant administrative or office-related qualifications are advantageous.
