BMS Engineer Job Description

ARV Solutions is seeking a skilled BMS Engineer to join their team. As a BMS Engineer, you will be responsible for providing service and commissioning support to your colleagues, diagnosing and troubleshooting BMS systems, and resolving network issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical support to colleagues and resolve BMS system issues
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot BMS systems using Trend and Tridium BMS Systems
  3. Configure operating systems and use remote desktop connections to resolve network issues
  4. Provide written instructions and technical manuals for complex problems
  5. Work with subcontractors on site to ensure projects stay on programme and meet quality standards
Requirements:
  1. Qualified in Electrical Installation or Controls Software Engineering or with equivalent practical experience
  2. Experienced in a technical support role, ideally in the data centre or IT infrastructure industry, with hands-on experience in resolving technical issues and system commissioning
  3. Familiar with computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
  4. Able to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues as well as more complex problems
  5. Possessing good working knowledge of remote desktop applications
  6. A good communicator, both written and verbal, able to provide step-by-step technical help
  7. Experienced with Tridium AX, N4 and Trend
  8. Able to travel to customer sites along the M4 corridor
