BMS Commissioning Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled BMS Commissioning Engineer to join our client's expanding team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in commissioning and servicing of Building Automation and Control Systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commissioning of BMS systems to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Production of detailed reports, including commissioning reports, test results, and as-fitted drawings.
  • Integration of 3rd party systems into the BMS using MODbus, Mbus, or BACnet enabled devices.
  • Regular communication with the project manager to update on progress and commissioning status.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience as a commissioning or servicing engineer.
  • Experience with Trend, Tridium, RDM, or Niagara systems.
  • Trend Expert certification.
  • HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Good working knowledge of BMS industry standards and protocols.
  • Previous experience in creating/updating BMS software and graphics.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Industry standard H&S certification.
