BMS Engineer Job Description

ARV Solutions Contracts is seeking a skilled BMS Engineer to join their team. As a BMS Engineer, you will be responsible for providing service and commissioning support to your colleagues, diagnosing and troubleshooting BMS systems, and resolving network issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide service and commissioning support to colleagues
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot BMS systems using Trend and Tridium software
  • Resolve network issues and configure operating systems
  • Use remote desktop connections to troubleshoot issues
  • Provide written instructions and technical manuals for complex problems
  • Work with subcontractors on site to ensure projects stay on programme and meet quality standards
Requirements:
  • Qualified in Electrical Installation or Controls Software Engineering or with equivalent practical experience
  • Experienced in a technical support role, ideally in the data centre or IT infrastructure industry
  • Familiar with computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
  • Able to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues and complex problems
  • Possess good working knowledge of remote desktop applications
  • A good communicator, able to provide step-by-step technical help
  • Experienced with Tridium AX, N4, and Trend software
  • Able to travel to customer sites along the M4 corridor
