About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our client's organization. As a key member of the Accounts department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes, including payroll management, treasury management, and statutory returns.

  • Management of the Accounts team – 3 Accounts assistants.
  • Treasury Management – Payment approvals and bank reconciliations.
  • Monthly Payroll – Summarizing/checking/paying payroll/posting journals and paying CSA/other deductions of Earnings.
  • Processing weekly timesheets allocating costs to correct projects.
  • Maintenance and Management of Fixed Asset register.
  • Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Creating and managing projects within Sage 200, maintaining correct contract values and contract budgets.
  • Monthly CIS returns and issuing monthly subcontractor statements.

Requirements:

Financial experience within an Engineering/Manufacturing/construction background.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of financial compliance and regulation specifically within CIS.
  • Excellent IT and financial systems skills.
  • Ability to perform assignments independently with supervision and guidance as required.
