Job Overview:
Building Careers UK is in search of a committed Customer Relations Specialist to represent one of our key Social Housing partners in the North-West. This role is pivotal in managing customer grievances across multiple service sectors.
The successful candidate will address complaints with compassion and impartiality, ensuring adherence to our established Complaints Policy and Procedure, while also responding to inquiries from Members of Parliament in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough investigations into customer complaints.
2. Ensure effective resolutions and prompt responses.
3. Document, track, and report on the status of complaints.
4. Assist Customer Service Advisors in recording complaints.
5. Identify and communicate insights to foster service enhancements.
6. Meet with customers in person when required.
7. Comply with Health & Safety, Equality & Diversity, and Safeguarding policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CIH Level 3 or a commitment to pursue it).
2. Demonstrated experience in a customer-centric environment.
3. Familiarity with the Housing Ombudsman's Complaints Handling Code.
4. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
5. Capacity to manage challenging situations with sensitivity and understanding.
6. Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office.

2. High levels of motivation and resilience.
3. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others.
4. Experience in financial and risk management.
