Corporate Business Development Manager

A leading Waste Management company is seeking a seasoned Corporate Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion in the commercial sector. With a strong national presence and a reputation for excellence, this business is poised for further success and is looking for a talented individual to join their team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and executing sales strategies, and collaborating with the Sales Director and Operations team to drive growth and improve performance. This is a home-based/field-based role that offers the opportunity to work independently and make a significant impact on the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the Waste Management sector
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and expansion
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director and Operations team to improve performance and drive growth
  • Represent the company at trade shows and networking events to identify new business opportunities
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and business development, with a strong understanding of the Waste Management sector. They will be a confident communicator, a good influencer, and have entrepreneurial spirit and drive. This is a step-up role from a standard sales position in Waste Management, and the successful candidate will need to have some sales experience in the sector.
