Job Title: Security Officer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Security Officer to join our team at ABM. As a Security Officer, you will be the public face of our Security Team, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and visitors. This is a part-time position, working 24 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors and tenants, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Site Security: Conduct regular patrols of the site, identifying and mitigating potential security risks.
- Incident Management: Respond to and manage incidents in accordance with site policies and procedures.
- Communication: Liaise with the site control room and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and response to incidents.
- Reporting: Record and log all incidents and non-conformances, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Training and Development: Complete all required training and development activities to ensure compliance with site and company policies.
Requirements:
- Valid SIA Licence: Possess a valid SIA Licence and be able to provide documentation to support this.
- Background Check: Have a 5-year checkable background and be able to provide documentation to support this.
- Age and Eligibility: Be over the age of 18 and eligible to work in the UK.
- Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- First Aid Certificate: Hold a valid first aid certificate.
