About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate ESOL/EFL Tutor to join our team at Fleet Education Services. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners who require dedicated, in-person support to achieve their academic goals.

Our learners are situated throughout Hertfordshire, particularly in St Albans, and require tuition on a 1:1 or small group basis. You will provide engaging and inspiring tuition, creating lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each learner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality tuition that is designed to engage and inspire learners.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with learners' guardians/teachers to ensure academic success.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Live and be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process.
  • Commitment to safeguarding.
  • Experience supporting students with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs.
