About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Generalist Tutor to join our team at PeoplePlus. As a Generalist Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of skills, knowledge, and behaviours of our learners in a prison environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality training sessions to small groups of learners across a range of subjects, including English, Maths, Personal & Social Development, and ESOL.
  • Develop and implement effective training plans to meet the needs of our learners.
  • Provide guidance and support to learners to help them achieve their long-term goals and aspirations.
  • Work collaboratively with our management team and other PeoplePlus staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality courses.
  • Contribute to the development of our curriculum and training materials.
Requirements
  • Level 2 Maths and English, or equivalent.
  • Substantial experience in delivering training and education in a prison environment.
  • Expertise in your field, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and training needs of our learners.
  • A teaching or assessing qualification is desirable, but not essential.
  • Ability to display a wide range of training methods to engage learners and deliver qualifications across a variety of subjects.
