About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English Tutor to join our team at Fleet Education Services. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Childhood Trauma.

As a Tutor, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering tuition, and monitoring student progress. You will also collaborate with students' guardians/teachers to ensure their academic success and maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver tailored tuition to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with students' guardians/teachers to ensure their academic success.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance.
Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Live and be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
  • Commitment to safeguarding.
  • Experience supporting students with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs.
