Financial Manager

Our client, a leading supplier of innovative technology products, is seeking a highly skilled Finance Controller to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for managing all financial functions, including accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and present monthly management accounts and other financial reports as required.
- Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow projections.
- Oversee regulatory functions, including VAT returns and EC sales lists.
- Organize and manage financial audits to ensure compliance with UK and overseas legislation.
- Manage daily accounts routines, including journals, bank transactions, prepayments, and accruals.
- Ensure strong stock control measures are in place.
- Control costs and work with budget holders to drive efficiency and cost savings.
- Line manage accounts payable staff.
- Support senior managers with guidance and reporting.
- Oversee credit control and manage payroll and pensions administration.
- Liaise with external accountants, bankers, and parent company as required.
- Support staff with Sage50 access and training.
- Contribute to systems and IT development and improvement.
