Key Responsibilities- Support the Theatre Manager in leading, teaching, and appraising staff to ensure development needs are met.
- Supervise and educate junior staff, including RGNs and ODPs, and conduct clinical supervision.
- Contribute to the overall excellence of the Operating Department by promoting clinical care.
- Act as a role model, demonstrating high levels of clinical expertise and leadership.
- Prepare the operating theatre room for surgery, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
- Assess patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
- Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with HCPC or NMC registration.
- Experience working in teams with minimal supervision.
- Previous leadership experience is advantageous, but not essential.
- At least 2 years of ortho scrub experience.
- Passionate and driven individual with dynamic thinking skills.
