FINANCIAL OPERATIONS LEADER

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

Halmer Recruit is representing a prominent organization in the industry seeking a Financial Operations Leader. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the financial department and report directly to the Managing Director.

Your responsibilities will encompass the execution of strategic initiatives, cost management projects, enhancement of processes and systems, and ensuring financial accuracy.
You will guide the finance team and manage all financial activities within the organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, treasury, and taxation.
Effective cash flow management will be essential to guarantee sufficient banking resources.
You will be tasked with the weekly and monthly oversight of inventory levels.
It is crucial to maintain compliance with all statutory and financial regulations and standards.
You will prepare precise monthly and annual financial statements and present these to the board of directors.
Collaboration with other department leaders will be necessary to optimize financial operations.
The ideal candidate for this Financial Operations Leader position should possess:

Formal qualifications (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent experience with substantial relevant expertise in the manufacturing industry.
A proactive approach and willingness to engage directly in the preparation of financial accounts.
Proficiency in IT and accounting systems, with experience in tools such as Excel and Sage 200 being beneficial.
Availability to work on-site for the majority of the week.
