Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at Penguin Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of construction in the UK and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Lead scheme development, preliminary and detailed designs, and coordinate projects to meet client expectations.
  • Contribute to or lead business development efforts, manage budgets, and prepare fee proposals to secure new projects.
  • Mentor and support junior team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality technical and non-technical deliverables.
  • Work in a design office, participating in design meetings, site inspections, and progress reporting to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop strong communication and liaison skills to effectively collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
Requirements:
  • A BEng, MEng, BSc, MSc, HND, or HND in Civil Engineering, with significant experience in a design office.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, PDS, Civils3D, and MicroDrainage for technical analysis and design.
