Senior Civil Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cardiff. As a key member of our Civil & Structural team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects and contributing to the growth and success of our business.

About the Role
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver complex projects
  • Develop and implement innovative design solutions
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence
  • Contribute to business development, including work-winning and fee proposal preparation
  • Mentor and support junior team members, promoting technical excellence and quality
  • Engage with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure effective communication and project success
Requirements
  • BEng, MEng, BSc, MSc, HND, or HNC civil engineering qualification
  • Significant experience in a design office environment, with a strong understanding of Section 104, 278, and 38 adoption procedures
  • Excellent analysis and technical design skills in AutoCAD, PDS, Civils3D, and MicroDrainage
  • Working knowledge of technical software, including Civil 3D, AutoTrack, and industry-standard software
  • Experience working with residential developers and knowledge of UK planning procedures
  • Ability to secure technical approvals from highway and drainage authorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a self-motivated and team-oriented approach
