The Commercial Finance Business Partner will provide strategic financial insight and support to drive business performance. This role will act as a key liaison between the finance department and other business units, ensuring financial objectives align with the overall strategic goals of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and forecasting.
- Analyse financial performance and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with business units to prepare budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Monitor and report on financial metrics, key performance indicators, and business performance.
- Support decision-making processes by providing financial analysis and insights.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, and work with business units to address them.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Prior business partner / FP&A industry experience essential – with SaaS experience desirable.
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication / team building skills.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and communicate complex business plans and financial models.
- Ability to work with incomplete data sets and generate conclusions and recommendations without always having the full picture.
- Can work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A track record of delivering successful business outcomes through effective business partnering.
- A passion for driving business growth and success in a rapidly changing market.
