Job Title: Strategic Change Manager

Age UK Group is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Change Manager to support local Age UKs in maintaining and enhancing their strategic positioning, financial sustainability, and governance.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across the Age UK Network to develop and implement robust project plans, take a proactive approach to challenges, and ensure the continuity of high-quality services and support for older people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to local Age UKs in relation to organisational development, significant strategic change, contingency planning, and crisis management.
  • Work collaboratively with teams to find creative and innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Develop and manage teams to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of project plans, ensuring timely and impactful delivery.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with senior stakeholders across the Age UK Network.
Requirements
  • Excellent understanding of the policy and legislative environment in which Age UK services operate.
  • Knowledge of the role of statutory, voluntary, and private sectors in relation to service provision for older people.
  • Excellent influencing, negotiation, and persuasion skills to enable the delivery of positive solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with others to find creative and innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and application of project and change management methodologies.
