Job Title: Consultant Cardiologist with Specialist Interest in Imaging

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Cardiologist with a specialist interest in imaging to join our dynamic team at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive cardiac care to patients, with a focus on imaging and coronary intervention.

About the Role:
  • Provide expert care to patients with cardiac conditions, utilizing advanced imaging techniques and coronary intervention.
  • Work closely with a team of experienced cardiologists, specialist registrars, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new imaging and coronary intervention protocols, ensuring the highest standards of care.
  • Participate in on-call rota, providing 24/7 coverage for cardiac emergencies.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including radiology and cardiology, to ensure seamless patient care.
