About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at RSE, a leading clean water technology company. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in the delivery of projects for various clients, assisting in the installation, testing, and commissioning of control, instrumentation, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans, site commissioning files, methodologies, programs, and risk assessments to ensure project success.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of quality and specification compliance, ensuring that all work meets the required standards.
  • Collaborate with the project team to provide constructive input and support during FAT activities.
  • Commission LV Electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems, including MCCs and associated field equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, line diagrams, and P&IDs to ensure accurate installation and commissioning.
  • Complete SAT and Asset Start-up, and commissioning documentation to ensure project completion.
  • Participate in HAZCOMM activities for various projects as required.
Requirements
  • Electrical/Instrumentation HND/HNC or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven Mechanical & Electrical experience, with full commissioning phase experience (installation, dry, wet, process testing).
  • Previous experience holding SAP or AP position and of PTW systems.
  • Experience of MCCs, including VSDs, Softstarts, and Flow, Level, Pressure, and Temperature instrumentation.
  • Experience in executing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for clean and wastewater projects on both new build and retrofit sites.
  • Experience in FAT, SAT testing, and fault finding.
  • Experience in telemetry end-to-end testing.
  • Profibus, Installation, and Commissioning Certification.
  • Flexibility for location of work and out-of-hours working as required by the Company.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
