The Role

We're seeking a skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our agile engineering teams. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing tightly focused APIs, user interfaces, and services that internalize our core business logic. You'll also support these systems in production and collaborate with your team to improve our software quality and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement monitoring solutions, metric-driven alerting, logging, and tracing using Prometheus, EFK, Alertmanager, and Jaeger/Zipkin
  • Troubleshoot complex environments using monitoring tools
  • Establish and measure SLIs and SLOs with engineering teams
  • Participate in periodic 24x7 on-call duties
  • Build and manage systems, infrastructure, and applications through automation using Terraform and Ansible
  • Deploy, support, and monitor new and existing services, platforms, and application stacks
  • Capacity and performance management of environments
What We Need from You
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services platforms, container orchestration platforms, and Linux/Unix
  • Coding skills in Go, Python, NodeJS, and Git
  • Experience with implementing monitoring solutions and metric-driven alerting
  • Good to have experience with Java, PHP, ReactJS, and operating data stores in the cloud
