We are seeking a skilled Technician to become a vital part of our Service & Workshop team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that vehicle repairs meet the highest industry standards. A strong background in PSV repair and maintenance is essential, along with excellent communication abilities. You should be adaptable and eager to acquire new skills. Your responsibilities will include assisting in diagnosing faults, adhering to warranty protocols, and maintaining the workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues
  • Collaborate with the Parts Team for necessary replacements
  • Provide support during roadside emergencies
  • Ensure the workshop remains clean and safe
  • Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Help mentor and train apprentices

Qualifications:

Must hold a qualification in City and Guilds or NVQ3, with relevant experience in the commercial vehicle sector. A foundational understanding of computer systems and vehicle technology is required. Previous experience or apprenticeship in the PSV/HGV field is advantageous.
