Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team at Stagecoach Sharston Depot. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles to ensure they are safe and reliable for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair vehicles to a high standard, ensuring they are safe and reliable for our customers
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with vehicles
  • Work collaboratively with other engineers and depot staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations

Requirements

  • Engineering background with a vehicular focus, preferably with experience in bus or HGV/LGV maintenance
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime
