We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team at DiaSorin. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical service and support to customers via phone and on-site visits, ensuring maximum equipment uptime and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide responsive and effective technical support to customers via phone and on-site visits, resolving technical issues and ensuring equipment uptime.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on equipment in accordance with defined schedules and corporate standards.
  • Installation and Decommissioning: Install and decommission equipment in accordance with defined deadlines and corporate standards.
  • Documentation: Document all service activity within DiaSorin's corporate service management application.
  • First-Level Support: Provide first-level support for installation and decommissioning of instruments and interfacing of instruments to laboratory computer systems.
  • IT Support: Provide support for IT components (PC/printer/software) provided by DiaSorin as an element of their product offering.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or appropriate HNC/HND in Biomedical and/or Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience as a Field Service Engineer within a medical laboratory environment or as a medical laboratory technician with a demonstrable practical aptitude and interest in engineering.
  • Computer Expertise: Good knowledge of MS Windows (principally Windows 10 but also some legacy versions).
