About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team at Wayman Group. As a Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education and care to our young students, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pastoral Care: Provide a safe and nurturing environment for our students, promoting their well-being and emotional intelligence.
  • Teaching and Learning: Deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, focusing on individualized learning targets and encouraging children's strengths and interests.
  • Mathematics and Literacy: Develop children's mathematical skills, introducing concepts such as fractions, statistics, and geometry, while also fostering their writing abilities through creative storytelling.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and track students' progress, reporting back to parents and stakeholders as necessary.

Our school is a 4-form entry institution located in a residential area, providing a friendly and supportive environment for both students and staff. We welcome early career teachers (ECTs) and offer opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements
  • Qualifications: Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in Early Years education.

  • Leadership: The confidence to lead a class, manage behavior, and contribute to the school's pastoral environment.
