At AQA, we are seeking an exceptional Head of Product to lead our English, Maths, and Science product offering. This is a pivotal role that requires strategic leadership, subject expertise, and business acumen to drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategies to defend and grow AQA's market share position in English, Maths, and Science.
- Oversee the coordination, prioritization, and supervision of related activities in line with AQA's strategic objectives.
- Manage the development and delivery of annual and medium-term product roadmaps, balancing quality, customer needs, commercial viability, and stakeholder interests.
- Represent AQA internally and externally, aiming to achieve customer acquisition targets and improve customer retention.
- Identify and define strategic activities necessary for meeting AQA's targets and lead their implementation.
- Manage the assigned portfolio across its entire life cycle.
- Lead and develop team members, promoting a high-performance culture, and ensuring compliance with AQA policies.
- Significant expertise in English, Maths, and Science, gained through professional roles or teaching experience.
- Leadership, communication, influencing, negotiation, creative thinking, analysis, problem-solving, prioritization, strategic planning, and interpersonal abilities.
- Educational or commercial product management experience, working in a complex matrix environment, people management.
