About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Manager to join our team at Travis Perkins. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for leading the product development lifecycle for a specific group of Benchmarx categories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement product development strategies to drive portfolio profitability and SKU efficiency for a market leading product offer.
  • Lead and own the product development lifecycle, including detailed SKU level data analysis, consumer & trade market data analysis and insights, product design, innovation & development and value engineering programmes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver product development projects, including marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with strategic suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Support the Head of Product with the delivery of the full end-to-end Go-To-Market strategy, including the implementation of NPD, the management of delete lines and obsolete stock.

Requirements

  • Experience in a product development role or industry experience.
  • Related category management & product development/design experience for a multiple retail/trade business.
  • Strong analytical skills to manipulate data and identify opportunities.
  • Technical awareness of kitchens with the ability to spot and interpret fashion and design trends.
