About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transformation Finance Manager to join our team at Sainsbury's. As a key member of our Finance function, you will play a critical role in supporting the business to transform the way we operate and drive success in the ever-changing world of retail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Business Transformation team to develop and implement financial models and business cases to support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, and develop strategies to optimize financial performance.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to establish consistency and develop best practice across financial reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and implement value-add tooling to support the ongoing visibility and insight of the Transformation Portfolio.
  • Perform financial evaluation and sensitivity analysis of different opportunities that may arise in the Transformation space.
  • Accountable for cross-referencing and producing accurate documentation in all areas.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Transformation Finance Manager who possesses the following qualifications and skills:

  • Professionally qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
  • Strong financial modeling and business case development skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong eye for detail and accuracy
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the business
