Position Overview

ZD Technical Recruitment is seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a prestigious international design and manufacturing firm known for its excellence across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will report directly to the Lead Mechanical Engineer and will be primarily tasked with:

  • Assisting in the mechanical design and development of diverse products tailored for the commercial sector.
  • Ensuring adherence to engineering and design governance, applying established processes and procedures throughout the design lifecycle.
  • Utilizing CAD software, such as SolidWorks, and conducting Finite Element Analysis as needed.
  • Participating in product and system testing and evaluation to ensure quality and performance standards.
  • Contributing innovative ideas for continuous improvement within the engineering and design team.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a mechanical engineering and design capacity.
  • A strong understanding of engineering principles and design governance.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and experience with Finite Element Analysis.
  • A Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
