About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a House Manager at our new estate in Miller Place, Bedford. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming new residents and providing a warm and welcoming environment
  • Providing professional front-of-house service and dealing with visitors in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Being the first point of contact for residents and providing support and advice as needed
  • Working collaboratively with our partners and suppliers to ensure the efficient running of the estate
  • Representing McCarthy Stone in a professional and positive manner
  • Managing the development of the gardens and grounds to provide a safe and secure environment for residents
  • Facilitating social interaction and helping residents to enjoy their retirement living experience
  • Ensuring that all health and safety requirements are met

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Extensive experience in a customer-facing role
  • A professional approach with high-quality standards
  • Ability to thrive in a busy and varied role
  • Resilience and problem-solving skills
  • Awareness of basic health and safety principles
  • Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Previous or current first aid qualifications an advantage
