About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a House Manager at McCarthy Stone's new estate in Miller Place, Bedford, Bedfordshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to homeowners, ensuring their quality of life and independence are maintained.
  • Manage a strong community through event coordination, regular meetings, and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with partners and suppliers to ensure the smooth running of the estate.
  • Be the first point of contact for homeowners, offering help, support, and advice as necessary.
  • Manage the development, gardens, and grounds in an efficient and effective manner, providing a safe, secure, and pleasant environment for homeowners.
  • Facilitate social interaction and help homeowners enjoy retirement living to the full.
  • Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are adhered to.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills with a real "can do" attitude.
  • Extensive experience in a professional customer service orientated position.
  • A professional approach with high quality standards.
  • Thrives in a busy and varied role, where every day will be different.
  • Be resilient and can problem solve effectively.
  • A good level of computer literacy including Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Previous/current work based first aid qualifications will be an advantage.
