Dar is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Urban Economist to join our Economics Department based in London. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic, economic, and financial advisory services to help deliver on our clients' visions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Economic Strategies: Lead in the development of economic strategies for regional, urban, and industrial plans, using a mix of quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Conduct Business Cases: Conduct business cases, feasibility studies, and economic impact assessments to inform clients' decision-making.
- Coordinate Project Delivery: Coordinate and liaise with other disciplines in project delivery, ensuring compliance with all quality assurance and control requirements.
- Contribute to Business Development: Contribute to project proposals and other business development activities as required.
- Travel and Client Engagement: Travel for client meetings and workshops as needed.
- Strong Educational Background: Strong first degree in a relevant discipline (Economics, Urban and Regional Planning, Real Estate Development, or similar).
- Postgraduate Qualification: Postgraduate qualification (MSc or MBA) an advantage.
- Relevant Experience: 3-7+ years of relevant consulting or project development experience.
- Core Competencies: Strong communication skills, analytical skills, technical skills, resource management, and management/leadership skills.
