Research Economist

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Economist to join our team at The Economist. As a Research Economist, you will play a key role in conducting in-depth economic research and communicating your findings to policymakers, academics, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct economic research and analysis on a range of topics, including public policy and economic development.
- Communicate research findings to policymakers, academics, and other stakeholders through reports, presentations, and other materials.
- Develop and maintain relationships with policymakers, academics, and other stakeholders to ensure that our research is relevant and useful to them.
- Collaborate with other researchers and analysts to develop and implement research projects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest economic research and developments, and apply this knowledge to our research and analysis.
- Master's degree in economics or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyze large datasets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
