About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Support Worker to join our team at Dimensions, a leading social care organization. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and physical disabilities in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and mobility assistance to individuals, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Support individuals with daily living skills, such as meal preparation, household chores, and personal hygiene.
  • Accompany individuals to favored activities, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Administer medication and provide medical support as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Hold a full UK or EU driving license, as mobility vehicles are used to support individuals.
  • Be able to work flexible hours, including early shifts, late shifts, and sleep-in shifts.
  • Have a genuine interest in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and physical disabilities.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with individuals who use alternative forms of communication.
