About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Community Support Time and Recovery Worker. As a key member of our Adult Mental Health Team, you will play a vital role in delivering recovery-focused interventions to individuals with severe mental illness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver emotional and practical support to service users under the guidance of qualified mental health clinicians and team leaders.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to provide person-centered care and support.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with service users, families, and carers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans.
  • Participate in regular supervision, appraisal, and training to ensure ongoing professional development.
Requirements
  • Experience of mental health services, either as a worker or service user/carers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with service users and their families/carers who are experiencing mental health problems.
  • Empathy and sensitivity to the needs of people with mental health needs.
  • Ability to travel within the geographical work area and access a range of settings, including visiting people at home.
  • Commitment to continuous development of job-related knowledge and skills, including essential IT skills.
