We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Community Support Time and Recovery Worker. As a key member of our Adult Mental Health Team, you will play a vital role in delivering recovery-focused interventions to individuals with severe mental illness.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver emotional and practical support to service users under the guidance of qualified mental health clinicians and team leaders.
- Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for service users.
- Use the principles of a flexible assertive community treatment (FACT) model of healthcare to provide person-centered, evidence-based care.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with service users, families, and carers.
- Contribute to the development of service user-centered care plans and interventions.
- Experience of mental health services, either as a worker or service user/carers.
- Ability to communicate effectively with service users and their families/carers who are experiencing mental health problems.
- Empathy and sensitivity to the needs of people with mental health needs.
- Ability to travel within the geographical work area and access a range of settings, including visiting people at home.
- Commitment to continuous development of job-related knowledge and skills, including essential IT skills.
- A supportive and collaborative team environment.
- Regular supervision and appraisal.
- Opportunities for professional development and training.
- A comprehensive induction program and on-going training to achieve a minimum of NVQ2/VRQ.
