We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory Manager to join our team at Jet2. As an Inventory Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Audit and Stock Management: Conduct regular audits to ensure the integrity of our stock and locations, and implement effective stock management processes to minimize losses and optimize inventory levels.
- Inventory Coordination: Work closely with our Goods-In Controllers to ensure the effective arrival of stock into our distribution centre, and support the accurate movement of stock throughout the warehouse.
- Warehouse Operations: Utilize Warehouse Management Systems to optimize inventory levels, and ensure the effective operation and maintenance of our warehouse equipment.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with HMRC and CAA processes for bonded stock, and implement effective controls to minimize the risk of non-compliance.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our inventory management processes, and provide regular reports to management.
- Training and Development: Support the coaching and development of our warehouse team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
- Experience: Previous experience of stock and inventory management in a logistics or distribution environment, with a strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and audit processes.
- Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Education: Relevant qualifications in a field such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
