Role Overview: The Residential Care Facilitator is responsible for overseeing and delivering pastoral support to students during their non-class hours. This includes providing guidance and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the residential facilities, ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies to maintain the well-being of all students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student meals and monitor their dietary habits, addressing any concerns with the appropriate personnel.
  • Supervise students during their free time, ensuring adherence to behavioral standards and providing support as needed.
  • Coordinate transportation for students to medical appointments when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, including Mathematics and English.
  • Level 2 Safe Handling of Medication certification or willingness to obtain it.
  • Experience working with young individuals, preferably in a residential context.
  • Understanding of equality and diversity principles within an educational framework.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
