Job Summary

Utah State University is seeking a highly qualified English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor to teach an 8-week ESL course designed for adult beginners. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing students in the foundations of English, including grammar, vocabulary, and practical usage in daily scenarios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans and materials
  • Teach and work with students 2 to 3 hours a week
  • Develop and implement interactive role-playing, cultural insights, and scenario-based learning activities
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
Qualifications
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish
  • Certification to teach ESL
  • Ability to present engaging material and communicate effectively
Working Conditions

Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but may be required to sit for extended periods and use repetitive hand motions.
