We are seeking a skilled Mixing Operative to join our team at Cranswick Gourmet Sausage Co. in Hull.

About the Role:

As a Mixing Operative, you will be responsible for developing production to specified recipes, lifting and transporting raw materials, and working with our Nav scanning system.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop production to meet quality and quantity standards
  • Lift and transport raw materials safely and efficiently
  • Operate the Nav scanning system to ensure accurate tracking
  • Work with the production team to meet daily running plans
  • Ensure all products have correct batch codes and labels
  • Report any anomalies to the Mixing Technician/Co-ordinator
  • Maintain good GMP standards and undergo statutory training as required
  • Meet high levels of work performance and productivity

Requirements:

  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Manual handling abilities, including lifting and mixing ingredients
  • Previous food manufacturing experience is ideal, but not essential
  • Machine operating experience is also desirable
  • A keen attitude and willingness to learn are essential

We offer 4on/4off shifts, with options for day or night work. Pay rates are £12.11 for day shifts and £13.61 for night shifts.
