About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Sausage Production Operative to join our team and contribute to the production of our premium sausages. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production processes to meet specified recipes and quality standards.
- Lift and transport raw materials, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Operate the Nav scanning system to track production and quality control.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure the production lines are serviced and running smoothly.
- Verify that all products have the correct batch code and labeling.
- Report any anomalies or quality issues to the Mixing Technician/Co-ordinator.
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and ensure a clean and organized working environment.
- Participate in statutory training, including Level Two Food Safety, as required.
- Meet or exceed performance targets and maintain high levels of work quality.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Ability to perform manual handling activities, including lifting and mixing ingredients.
- Previous experience in food manufacturing, preferably in a similar role.
- Machine operating experience is an asset.
- A keen attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
- Previous experience in production and working in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
