Job Title: Mixing Operative

Cranswick Gourmet Sausage Co. (Lazenby's) is a fast-paced sausage facility located in Hull, producing gourmet sausages using only the best cuts of British pork, fresh herbs, and spices.

We are seeking a Mixing Operative to join our team, working either on a Day or Night Shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing production to specified recipes, lifting and transporting raw materials, and working with the Nav scanning system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop production to specified recipes
  • Lift and transport raw materials
  • Work with the Nav scanning system
  • Ensure production lines are serviced according to daily running plans
  • Verify product batch codes and labels
  • Report anomalies to the Mixing Technician/Co-ordinator
  • Maintain good GMP standards
  • Undergo statutory training, including Level Two Food Safety
  • Maintain high levels of work performance

Requirements:

  • Good levels of written and spoken English
  • Manual handling activities, including lifting and mixing ingredients
  • Previous food manufacturing experience is ideal
  • Machine operating experience is ideal
  • A keen attitude and willingness to learn are essential
