Safeguarding Professional

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as a Safeguarding Nurse/Professional. As a key member of our safeguarding team, you will play a vital role in supporting the provision and implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures across the Trust.
Main Responsibilities- Collaborate with the MASH (Multiagency Safeguarding Hub) at County Hall to support the safeguarding children's partnerships.
- Develop and facilitate safeguarding training across the directorates and multiagency.
- Maintain regular visits as a link safeguarding professional to individual teams and sites across the trust.
- Participate in multiagency information sharing and risk management conferences.
- Support with audits and evaluation.
- Relevant practical experience of working with service users.
- Experience of working with children and families.
- Understanding of domestic abuse, substance misuse, and mental health risk factors for children and adults.
- Practical experience of working in a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency team.
- Evidence of undertaking risk assessments.
- Practical experience of presenting to groups.
- Experience of mentoring, supervision, coaching colleagues.
- Experience of dealing with complex child protection issues.
