FRONT OFFICE REGULATORY CHANGE PROJECT LEAD
A prominent Investment Banking institution is in search of a Front Office Regulatory Change Project Lead to support a series of commitments established by European regulatory authorities.
This position necessitates an individual with recent front-office exposure, consistently engaged in regulatory-related initiatives, coupled with strong capabilities in managing governance and reporting processes.
CONTRACT ROLE: Expected to extend through the end of 2025
Day Rate: £500 - £600/day (Umbrella)
London/Remote - 3 Days a week in the office
The program is focused on implementing modifications to the organization’s European entities to ensure compliance with European supervisory requirements concerning trading and risk management. The implementation will emphasize managing alterations to trading flows, documenting these flows, and creating additional artifacts to support European trading desks. This is projected to influence Markets Trading and Sales operations, associated controls, policies and procedures, system architecture, and operations/settlements to varying extents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Project Working Groups.
- Prepare materials for regulatory and Steering Committee submissions.
- Maintain project plans, RAID log, and provide status updates to relevant working groups.
- Oversee project charter, governance structure, and RACI.
- Manage stakeholders across Business, Legal, Compliance, Risk functions, Operations/Settlements, Technology, and other impacted parties.
- Ensure the program adheres to Program Execution & Transformation PMO standards and the firm’s project standards.
- Collaborate with technology teams where implementation is necessary.
Experience Required:
- Demonstrated Project Management experience, with a successful implementation track record and a minimum of 4 years' experience in Investment Banking/Markets.
- Experience in projects related to trading and risk management.
- Experience in implementing Front to Back Target Operating Model-related projects is advantageous.
- Proven history of project delivery within a Regulatory framework, encompassing legal interpretation, business impact analysis, solution development, and transition to Business As Usual.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), particularly at senior management levels.
- Ability to document Project Management artifacts utilizing best practice methodologies and standards.
