We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Export AOG Nights Operator to join our team at a medium-sized Freight Forwarding company near Heathrow. As an Export AOG Nights Operator, you will be responsible for handling time-sensitive shipments, ensuring that all export documentation is completed accurately and efficiently, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling AOG/time-sensitive shipments
  • Export shipments via air/road via customer requests
  • Collation of export documentation, including customs formalities, post-flight procedures, and routing of shipments
  • Ensuring that all export documentation is completed in accordance with customer instructions and rated correctly in accordance with IATA airline regulations
  • Customs documentation, including IPR/OPR/export license entries
  • Pre-alerts/post-flights
  • Quotations

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry
  • Experience working on AOGs in an export department
  • Aerospace shipping experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good time-keeping and attendance
  • Computer literate
  • Valid driver's license
  • GCSE/A-level standard education
  • Multi-lingual advantageous
  • Good command of the English language
  • Minimum Security Cargo Op (Trained)
  • Forklift license preferred
