Night Shift Operations Supervisor

Pertemps is seeking a highly skilled Night Shift Operations Supervisor to join our team in Colnbrook. Our client is a leading logistics company that prioritizes exceptional customer service and precision in every shipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Export Manager, oversee the night shift operations team to ensure seamless execution of export shipments.
  • Handle AOG/time-sensitive shipments with precision and urgency.
  • Collate export documentation, including Hawbs, Mawbs, customs formalities, and post-flight procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of export documentation, adhering to IATA/airline regulations.
  • Coordinate with customs to ensure compliance with supplier instructions, including IPR/OPR/export licenses.
  • Manage pre-alerts and post-flights to maintain efficient operations.
  • Provide quotations and ensure accurate rating of shipments.
Requirements and Key Competencies:
  • Experience working on AOGs in an export department, preferably in a freight forwarding company.
  • Aerospace shipping experience, particularly with aircraft parts.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills and good timekeeping/attendance.
  • Computer literacy and willingness to cover opposite shifts/holidays.
Qualifications and Education:
  • GCSE/A-level standard education.
  • Multi-lingual advantageous.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Minimum Security Cargo Op (trained) and Forklift License (preferred).
Software Systems:
  • Boxtop.
  • e-Customs/CDS.
  • Microsoft Office.
