Job Title: Asset Finance Administrator

Job Summary:

The Asset Finance Administrator will be responsible for the smooth operation of the Finance Department at The Beeches Nursing & Residential Care Home. This role will involve managing day-to-day financial transactions, generating reports, and communicating with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial transactions from source documents to final accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Generate reports for the Director and communicate with auditors, tax authorities, and other relevant parties.
  • Work with care home managers to address issues related to service provision.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance and update of sales and purchases ledgers, cash and cheque payments, and bank reconciliation statements.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and year-end accounts for the Director and auditors.
  • Assist in preparing weekly and monthly payroll.
  • Maintain and update the company's assets register.
  • Liaise with home managers on financial and quality issues.

Requirements:

  • Education to AAT or equivalent, or actively working towards achieving AAT final stages.
  • Computer literacy with knowledge of XERO.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Packages – Excel & Word for Windows.
  • Satisfactory police checks and DBS clearance.
  • Experience in staff supervision.
  • Systems development skills – financial and non-financial.
