About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Transformation Manager to join our team at Hywel Dda University Health Board. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving the integration of health and social care services in Pembrokeshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a robust integrated plan to drive service transformation and improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including health and social care professionals, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of transformation projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Integrated Transformation to develop and implement a comprehensive transformation strategy.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to support their professional development and growth.
Requirements
  • Masters-level study or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Recognized project management qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • Strong IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets to a high standard.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience of leading and managing projects in a public sector or comparable organization.
  • Experience of budget setting and monitoring financial position.
  • Experience of working in partnership with other organizations.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Mentoring or coaching qualification.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of quality improvement methodologies.
  • Understanding of performance measurement metrics and results-based evidence approaches.
  • Understanding of project quality assurance methodology.
  • Experience of managing staff and working with staff Trades Unions or staff representatives.
Language Skills

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post. If you do not meet the Welsh Language requirements specified, the Health Board offers a variety of learning options and staff support to help you meet these minimal desirable requirements during the course of your employment with us.
