Restaurant Operations Manager
The German Doner Kebab team is seeking a skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to lead our store in Batley, West Yorkshire. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Action and implement business performance plans set by the Restaurant Manager
- Monitor and control restaurant sales levels and profitability
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive sales and customer engagement
- Prepare and present regular reports on staff control, food control, wastage, and sales
- Create and execute plans for departmental sales, profit, and staff development
Stock Control:
- Order and requisition food and supplies to maintain efficient operations
- Coordinate stock deliveries and maintain accurate records
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure compliance with GDK standards
Training and Development:
- Provide training and ongoing support to staff members
- Ensure staff are well-groomed and smart ready for work
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, sanitation, health, and safety
- Meet and greet customers, resolve queries, and investigate complaints
Other Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities for additional revenue growth
- Prepare duty rosters and maintain cleanliness and hygiene procedures
- Assist other staff as needed and ensure wastage is minimized
- Hold a basic Food Hygiene Certificate and conduct daily staff briefings
- Monitor and record temperature of freezers and chillers
- Arrange store maintenance and support the equal opportunities policy
