We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Merchandising Specialist to join our team at Poundland. As a key member of our Visual Merchandising team, you will play a crucial role in bringing our company values to life.
The successful candidate will report to the VM and Space Planning Manager and will be responsible for creating and maintaining planograms across our retail estate. This will involve designing captivating displays that showcase our products in the best possible light, ensuring maximum profitability from each planogram.
The ideal candidate will have excellent commercial acumen and be able to interpret data to make informed decisions that drive sales. They will also have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities- Ensure all planograms accurately reflect the commercial range and business objectives
- Visit stores and competitors to identify space management, store layout, product and range issues and opportunities
- Offer feedback on how the current process can be improved for our customers
- Work within the VM team to ensure planograms meet the expected criteria for all activities within planograms to maximize sales
- Create, maintain, and update planograms in each trading area across all stores, ensuring correct business objectives are reflected
- Ensure range and space is managed effectively to deliver optimum performance with weekly planogram updates
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bias for action, strong work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to be comfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves"
- Commercial acumen and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
